GeekCoins (GC) are internal virtual digital items designed for in-platform engagement, author tipping, Creator Workshop unlocks, and competitive 1v1 debate stakes. GeekCoins are delivered immediately to your account wallet upon payment confirmation.
GeekCoins are non-monetary digital credits, do not represent currency or financial securities, and possess no monetary value outside the GeekLand ecosystem.
Under EU, UK, and international consumer protection laws governing virtual digital goods, by initiating a purchase of GeekCoins and requesting immediate performance (instant delivery to your digital wallet), you acknowledge and explicitly agree that:
A refund will strictly and exclusively be granted if BOTH of the following conditions are met:
Condition A (Technical Failure): A verified technical issue occurred, such as failure to credit purchased coins to your account wallet within 1 hour of payment confirmation, or an accidental duplicate charge confirmed by Paddle payment records.
Condition B (Unspent Balance): NONE of the purchased GeekCoins have been spent, circulated, or wagered within the platform. If any coins from the order have been used for ranked debate duels (/duel), profile customization (titles, frames, skins), author tips, or Creator Workshop unlocks, the order is considered fully consumed and strictly non-refundable.
If your purchase qualifies for a refund under Section 3 above, submit your request within 14 days of purchase:
Valid refund requests are investigated and processed within 2–5 business days. Once approved, funds are returned by Paddle directly to the original payment method.
